The College of Nursing, NEIGRIHMS is located towards the North to the Director’s Block, NEIGRIHMS, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong. It was established in the year 2006 with an intake of 50 students per annum. The College is currently offering a 4-year B.Sc Nursing Course.
The College is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council / Meghalaya Nursing Council. It is affiliated to the North Eastern Hill University, Shillong.

The College is assisted by a number of External Guest Lecturers who are invited to teach the B.Sc Nursing students on subject like Introduction to Computer, Nutrition, Sociology, English, Psychology, Khasi and Statistics.
A few classes on the subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Medical Surgical Nursing I & II, Paediatric Nursing, part of Obstetric & Gynaecological Nursing, Genetics, Pathology and Microbiology etc are also being assisted by Medical Faculty of various Departments from NEIGRIHMS Hospital

College of Nursing Activities:-
- Teaching and Training Programme of B.Sc Nursing students 1st -4th Year.
- First National Conference was organized by the College of Nursing from 5th -7th October 2015 on the theme “Today’s Learners, Tomorrow’s Leaders-Transforming Nursing Education”.
- Annual Fresher’s Social Meet 2015 was held on 28th August 2015
- Lamp Lighting Ceremony for B.Sc Nursing students and Graduation Day 2015 for the 6th Batch of Passed Out B.Sc Nursing students was held on 12th November 2015.
- The students and Faculty attended the XXVI SNA Biennial Conference at Chattisgarh w.e.f 21st – 25th November 2015
ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES
