The MBBS course was initiated in the month of August and the first MBBS classes commenced from September 19th 2008.The first MBBS university Examination was held in the month of July 2009. 47 students were successful out of 50  examinees .  Honours  marks was awarded to one among the successful candidates. The second batch of 50 no of MBBS students were admitted in the month of July and classes  started from 11.08.009 The department currently  renders teaching facility  for the undergraduate MBBS curriculum. At present there are three functioning laboratories to aid undergraduate teaching. Future proposals 1.      Autonomic functions and HRV analysis laboratory 2.      Sports physiology and cardiorespiratory physiology lab 3.      Yoga and meditation lab are planned to be set up  for research as well as diagnostic purposes
