Introduction

Physiotherapy unit in NEIGRIHMS is functioning in the line of physical rehabilitation of patients, both in indoor and outdoor in a disabled friendly environment with six physiotherapists and available sophisticated equipment based, as well as manual therapy techniques for the recovery of patients’  towards normalcy.

The physiotherapists of the unit are involved in evidence based practice and academics.

Patient Services

Occupational Therapy involves Counseling and Education on Back posture care; Architectural modifications, demonstrated on patients with Back Pain, Cervical Spondylosis, PIVD, TB Spine; Joint protection technique, Activities adaptation, Work simplification and assistive - adaptive devices/ advice for patients with Polyarthrits/Rheumatoid Arthritis. Counseling and home exercise program were demonstrated for patients with Delayed Milestones, Cerebral Palsy and Mental retarded cases.
