Infrastructure

Carl Zeiss high end microscopes for OPD and OT.
High Definition endoscopic camera system with monitor for sinus surgeries. Karl Storz and stryker microdebrider .The O.P.D.is equated with 3 chips endoscopic camera system with monitor for diagnostic procedures.
Fibroptic flexible nasopharyngolaryngoscope for diagnostic and biopsy procedures in the O.P.D.
Adult & Pediatric rigid bronchoscope and bronchotelescope for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Audiological investigations including Pure Tone audiometer, Impedance and BERA.

Head and Neck cancer and reconstructive surgeries.
Micro ear surgeries for deafness, ear discharge, vertigo, facial palsy etc.
Nasal Endoscopic surgeries for sinusitis, CSF leaks, optic nerve and orbital decompression and skull base tumors.
Facial cosmetic surgeries (septorhinoplasty etc.)
Bronchoscopic procedure (diagnostic and therapeutic i.e. foreign body in trachea and bronchus etc)
Audiological investigations i.e. Pure Tone Audiometry, Impedance Audiometry and BERA.
Video assisted voice assessment for the patients with voice problems specially for the teachers, singers etc. We are in the process of updating to a Voice clinic having video stroboscopy at later date.
We are routinely seeing patients with dizziness and headache and are performing Dicks Hallpike’s maneuver and doing Epley’s Maneuver on them. We are running a Vertigo Clinic weekly and are in the process of updating it with Video Electronystagmography facility.

Actively involved in PG teaching activities of the Institute along with Regular Clinical Teaching rounds in the wards.
Classes of MBBS first year students in collaboration with Department of Physiology. Also involved in nursing students’ teaching.
MBBS clinical posting and theory classes for the department of ENT have already been started in the 7th semester.
Weekly departmental seminar and monthly inter-collaborative seminar on regular basis.
